Passport photos that meet the exact specifications!  

Photo requirements for Canadian passports are substantially different from the US requirements.

Many passport photos taken by other photographers are rejected.  Photos not meeting specifications are the most common reason Canadian passport applications are rejected. 

We take photos that will meet Canadian requirements.  Our photos are guaranteed to meet specifications.

Maximum size for a Canadian passport photo is 2¾" high by 2" wide. US passport photos are 2"x2"

The required dimension of the head in a Canadian passport photo is a little bigger than for the US.  There are some other slightly different qualifications.

The photographer (that's us) has to put his name and address and other information on the back of the photo. We have the equipment to properly print the required information on the back of your Canadian passport photo.

A guarantor has to certify that the photo is a true likeness of the applicant.  The Photo Express is not the guarantor.  Your guarantor will sign the photo later.

Under the new policy an eligible guarantor must:

    * Be a Canadian citizen 18 years of age or older,

    * Hold a five-year Canadian passport that is valid or has been expired for no more than one year

    * Have been 16 years of age or older when they applied for their own passport, and

     * Have known the applicant personally for at least two years.

We charge $19.99 for a pair of Canadian passport photos. Additional copies made at the same time are only $9.99 per pair.

No appointment is necessary for Canadian passport photos.  We take lots of passport photos and are ready during all business hours.  They are printed while you wait.
